Please note:  When Windham Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, all library programs are cancelled for that day. When schools have a morning delay, programs at the library will be held.

Special Programs

 

  • Family Movie Night: Thursday, January 25 at 6:00 PM. Join us for a showing of The Emoji Movie. Registration requested.
  • Drop In & Create Saturdays: Saturdays, January 27, February 10 and 24. Join us for a make-it-take-it craft. Drop in between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to create a special and simple something to take home with you. Crafts will be appropriate for ages 3+. February 10 we'll have a special Valentine's craft and chocolate as part of the Romantic Willimantic Annual Chocolate Festival.
  • Reading Rocks with Pete the Cat!: Saturday, February 3 at 11:30 AM. Celebrate "Take Your Child to the Library Day" with a rocking musical performance by Al deCant. Join us for a highly interactive family show featuring toe-tapping music, great stories, and heaps of audience participation, based on Pete the Cat books. Fun for the whole family! Registration requested.
  • LEGO® Fun!: Wednesday, February 7 from 4:00-5:30 PM for ages 7+. Build and play with LEGO®. We have thousands of bricks to build with! Registration requested.
  • Game Day @ the Library: Tuesday, February 20 from 2:00-4:00 PM. No school? Come to the library to play games with your family and friends. We have board games, card games, Wii games, and more!
  • Family Movie Night: Thursday, February 22 at 6:00 PM. Join us for a showing of The Boss Baby. Registration requested.
  • LEGO® Fun!: Wednesday, March 7 from 4:00-5:30 PM for ages 7+. Build and play with LEGO®. We have thousands of bricks to build with! Registration requested.
  • Wii Games at the Library: Kids and teens open Wii - play on a first come first served basis. If the program room is not in use, ask at the desk for the key to play our Wii. Choose from the following games: Cars, Mario Kart, Wii Sports, and Wii Sports Resort. Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Guidelines for use
